Danny!

Friday, August 28th, 2009

another newborn session! this little guy, Danny, was great! we wrapped him up, put him on the dining room table, moved him from room to room, dressed him, undressed him, and even laid him with his affectionate doggy, Kayla (who really loves bacon!)
for such a little guy, Danny has lots of beautiful hair and a big personality. thanks to Danny for being such a great sport!!
here are a few from the session:

domenic

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

two year old Domenic was such a sweet model! he loves to do grown up things like “mow the lawn”. its always funny to me that children want to do all of the things that grown ups don’t really want to do! one of the many ironies of life, i suppose!
so, yeah, we did a lot that day besides mow the lawn. Domenic got to play with bubbles, hit a few baseballs, read a book, show me some of the angels around the house, run around with his doggie and even got to show me his awesome train mural in his bedroom. i left just as nap time was coming around….
thanks to Domenic for making my job easy that day!

welcome, baby Zachary!!

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

i got to photograph little newborn Zachary just recently. he was so wonderful for the portraits! we learned that he doesn’t particularly love to be on his tummy but that he does love to be draped in a blanket and snuggled into a tiny basket. even better, he is very strong, loves the outdoors and enjoys listening to music! :) what a pleasure! i am looking forward to watching him grow! i am also excited to be photographing his mom & dad’s beach wedding this coming september! can’t wait!

heather & alex

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

i was so happy to be the photographer for heather & alex’s wedding! as soon as they mentioned that it would take place in new hope i was excited! i love visiting there but don’t make enough excuses to go more often. it is such a scenic and peaceful place and yet it is so close to the city!

anyway, they had an absolutely beautiful day. everything went perfectly. the ceremony was my favorite part. everyone met in the park and stood in a circle. there was no official music being played.. just the sounds of chirping birds, running water and, well, nature. it was simply stunning. their brunch reception at the Washington Crossing Inn was beautiful as well. this was a wonderfully heartfelt wedding and i was so very glad to be a part of it. i wish heather & alex much joy in their lives!!

below are my 2 favorites! this was alex’s reaction when heather accidentally said her vows as, “i promise to laugh at you” (instead of “with you”). it was great!

jon & ross engagement

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

so jon & ross contacted me as they were in philadelphia visiting some family (yes…. over the holidays… i told you these posts are overdue!) anyway, i am photographing their boston wedding this november and wanted to get to know them and do some engagement portraits as well. both guys were so much fun and so natural in front of the camera! ross is a ghost hunter. i know… how cool is that?? they wanted to find a cemetery for some photos. even cooler! anyway, we went to Christ church/ cemetery in old city and found that it was closed! it had been raining and apparently they sometimes close for this reason. not letting that stop us we continued on and found a cemetary further south. i had a great time with these two and can not wait for their wedding in november!!
