A new addition!

This week I was lucky enough to photograph yet another amazing newborn baby!! At just 2 weeks old, baby William was really wonderful for his first official portrait session. He never made a peep and was really alert and interested in everything we were doing. I was also privelaged to photograph his proud parents and adoring (not to mention adorable!!) big brother, Jimmy. Jimmy was awesome and kept wanting to hug and kiss his little brother, which was great!

Although Dad is trying to raise 2 Yankees fans, I won’t hold it against him… too much! This is a great family and I had a fantastic time capturing these moments for them!

Baby Sammy!

It was a privilege to photograph baby Sammy this week. He couldn’t be more sweet!! Though, honestly, I wasn’t surprised by that considering his parents. They were laid back and relaxed throughout the entire portrait session. I can’t express how wonderful and helpful that is!

Sammy let us curl him into a fruit bowl, lay him in a baby bed, wrap him up in a basket and so on…. He didn’t complain one bit. A perfect and sweet little guy!! I am so lucky to do this for a living!

Congratulations, Missy & Joey, I am so happy for you and hope that our babies get to be friends in the near future!

Newborn Baby Boy!

I was SO extremely excited when I got the message that baby Shawn was born on March 13th and couldn’t wait to meet him and photograph him! The little man was having a bit of a rough day that day but we waited it out and did everything possible to cheer him up! He eventually settled himself and became very peaceful. I’m sure he slept quite well after I left that day…

Kate & Shawn were amazing! They are both extremely laid back and clearly enjoy every inch of and every moment with Shawn. How could you not though? He is simply precious! I truly appreciated Shawn & Kate’s calm during the session and was genuinely impressed with how quickly they seemed to adapt to parenthood (this is especially encouraging to me!) Baby Shawn is certainly a lucky little guy!

Congratulations, Kate & Shawn! Shawn is perfect and I couldn’t be happier for you both!!

Baby Boy Easter Portraits!

For about a year now this family and I have been trying to get together for portraits…. maternity, newborn, etc… but we just couldn’t seem to work it out! I was so excited to finally get to meet little Mikey for his 9 month/ Easter portraits! He is such a happy and handsome little man! (Don’t you just love his little suit?) We had so much fun! His mom & dad are laid back and fun and made my job easy! Finally getting to meet Mikey was worth the wait.

Twin Babies!

Oh I just love twins and these two were no exception. There is something extra special about boy and girl twins particularly. A ready made family! I’ve secretly always wanted the same!

Colin & Lyla were adorable for their photo shoot. They are lovely models already! We did some dress up with mom’s pearls and dad’s ties and they gladly put up with us through it all. Enjoy this quick sneak peek!

Baby Adrian!!

In November of 2010, I was lucky enough to photograph Regina & Dritan’s beautiful wedding at The Valley Green Inn. This time around I was so delighted when they contacted me to photograph their new son, Adrian!! Adrian is…. absolutely adorable! He was amazingly good throughout the entire portrait session too. We accomplished so much and he kept up with all of it… including outfit changes and room changes, etc… Even when he quietly fell asleep out on the bed, he was perfect. A wonderful model already! He is clearly loved and adored by his family and it is easy to see why.

Iva Lucille’s Newborn Portraits

Iva Lucille (what a beautiful name! If I am correct, she was named after her 2 grandmothers) was just over 2 weeks old when I had the pleasure of photographing her. She is already a lovely little model! She certainly put up with a lot that day and hardly made a peep. Her parents, Morgan & Brian, were relaxed, game for anything and only live 2 blocks away from me (woohoo!).

The wonderful and talented Brandi (aka: Brandeye) had the great idea to purchase a Gift Certificate for portraits of her new niece. I am so thankful that she did as it was a lot of fun!

It’s a Boy!! Newborn Portraits!

I am very happy to announce that their gorgeous baby boy, Oliver, was born on August 30th! I feel extremely privileged to have gotten to meet him and to capture a few portraits of him so soon after he was born. I simply adore photographing newborns and Oliver was such a pleasure! Dana & John are fantastic parents already, as expected. It was wonderful to hear them talk about Oliver and to watch them stare at him in amazement. It is a lovely sight to see and I am so happy for them both!

Sadly, the month before Oliver was born their beloved parakeet, Shatzi, passed away. I know that they both loved him immensely and I thought that I would mention him here. I saw their memorial to him in their garden and took a picture. I thought it was really sweet. They did recently acquire a new parakeet, Sparky, (pictured below on the left) into their family. I’m sure baby Oliver & Sparky will have some fun together in the years to come!

Congrats again, John & Dana! Oliver is simply fantastic!

Oh, The Magliacano Family…. I just love them! There is no doubt that Xenia & Anthony have any trouble making beautiful children! I am simply in love with their newest addition, Giovanni. He is just over 3 months. Besides being adorable, he has so much personality already! Lucia, his big sister, is gorgeous and always a pleasure to photograph. She is definitely my buddy as I have been photographing her since only a few weeks old. You can find portraits of her all over my blog! I particularly love that we ended the session with her snuggling on my lap watching Finding Nemo.

Twice the love!

I am giving you fair warning here…after seeing this post you may start wishing for twin babies. There, you’ve been warned.

Meet twin brother & sister, Raina & Jude. They just recently turned 1 and had a luau birthday party! I met up with Jude & Raina and their parents at Pleasant Hill Park in Northeast Philadelphia. It is a relaxing park and we found some great little pockets of space to feed the geese and take some pretty river portraits! The twins even changed into their adorable luau outfits for some of the portraits. So cute! These two were so much fun and just made me smile the entire time. Mom & Dad were completely relaxed and knew how to have fun. I always appreciate that!
