Look at those blue eyes!

Friday, February 26th, 2010

I had the great pleasure of photographing Addison and her parents for the first time in their Bridesburg home.  I was so delighted to photograph a family so close to my home!  There were no bridge tolls or “roundabouts” and I could consistently make left turns on my drive there!  (To my many  NJ clients and friends, you know I love you….. but I often wish you were closer and in a more navigable state!)

ANYWAY,  Addison was fantastic for her portraits.  She missed her nap for my visit but she was still so happy and energetic.  She ran back and forth showing me all of the fun stuff she has to play with.  Some of those items were her favorite little pink chair, a stuffed animal that she loved to hug and kiss, a teapot, a collection of adorable shoes and a puzzle.  She is beautiful and has the most stunning big blue eyes.  Without further ado…. here she is:

my last holiday post. really!

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

Okay, I think that once this is posted it is my final of the holidays!  I can not believe how far behind I am (was!).

Anyway, this was my very last holiday portrait session.  I was so worried that I wouldn’t get everything turned around in time but, thankfully, everything worked out great.  I have been photographing these stunning girls since they were babies and I really didn’t want to miss them this year.  Six years of tradition…. I had to say yes… : )

Both girls are so wonderful…. a true reflection of their parents.  They are great listeners and are just so easy and beautiful to photograph.  Veronica & Cecilia, you are always a pleasure!  Thank you!

Glenside Christmas Portraits & Snow!

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

Gavin & Ethan….. my adorable nephews!!  I love them so much!!

I headed over to my sister & brother in law’s house in Glenside, PA to do some Christmas portraits.  It started snowing while i was there, which was great!  though the kids didn’t have their snow gear handy…. we headed out for a few quick pics anyway.  they loved it so much!  i think it was Ethan’s first real snow experience…. :)

brotherly love…

Disney, anyone?

Friday, January 15th, 2010

About a week after my session with the 9 cousins (posted HERE), I headed over to the children’s Grandparent’s house to do a session with one of the families.  One thing I learned about the whole family is how much they love Disney!  They had a beautiful tree decorated with all Disney, especially Mickey Mouse ornaments.  The three beautiful sisters; Brianna, Ella & Ava loved it especially!  All 3 girls are so sweet, have so much energy and did such a great job for the portraits.  It was even mild enough to go outside barefoot for a few!  Sighhh……   can’t wait for better weather soon!

Anyway, here are a few favorites:

Just as we were finishing up and I started to pack up my equipment, Brianna sat in this window and started reading.  Naturally, I unpacked my camera and ran in to capture the moment.  I really love these.  As a photographer I loved that the backlit sun hit the white pages of the book that she was reading and bounced onto her, highlighting her face…

two brothers and a baby sister!

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

I couldn’t help but think of my sister and brother in law when photographing this family.  2 adorable boys and a baby girl.   Ethan, Dylan & Isabelle (Bella).

I have 2 nephews and am expecting a niece this april!  (yay!)  Though my oldest nephew will only be 3 in may and Ethan, the oldest here, 5, the similarities were still there.  It continues to amaze me the work these parents do!  I feel busy some days just caring for my cat.  :)

Anyway, as soon as I arrived I was greeted by the still sleepy from his nap, Dylan; the energetic, inquisitive and informative Ethan and the adorably happy 4 month old, Bella.  Ethan enjoyed giving me a hand-held guided tour of the neighborhood on our walk to the nearby park.  At the playground Dylan definitely awoke from his sleepiness and had a great time running around and playing on the equipment.  As daylight was escaping fast, we captured some moments there and then headed back to the house to photograph the beautiful baby Bella!

Here are a few favs…..
