A new addition!

This week I was lucky enough to photograph yet another amazing newborn baby!! At just 2 weeks old, baby William was really wonderful for his first official portrait session. He never made a peep and was really alert and interested in everything we were doing. I was also privileged to photograph his proud parents and adoring (not to mention adorable!!) big brother, Jimmy. Jimmy was awesome and kept wanting to hug and kiss his little brother, which was great!

Although Dad is trying to raise 2 Yankees fans, I won’t hold it against him… too much! This is a great family and I had a fantastic time capturing these moments for them!

At the Playground…

I recently met up with Braedon(3), Luke(1) and their mom at Playwicki Park in Langhorne, PA. The park has lots of trees and nature and a charming old playground that was sparsely being used, which worked out great for the portraits! One thing about the playground was that everything was BIG. The swings are feet off the ground and the sliding board is enormous!

Anyway, I had a great time with these 2 adorable brothers. They were both so good. Braedon, especially, was filled with pleases and thank yous and is such a great listener. His mom told me that he was asking about me after the session. Awww… I love that!

Luke was a little upset for a short bit of the session but got over it quickly. This portrait captures that moment and is one of my favorites from the session!

Like I said, he was over it very quickly! Here are the boys climbing on the enormous sliding board. It turns out that Braeden is quite the risk taker and wanted to climb all the way up to the top. Needless to say, mom stopped that attempt.

Next we headed down to the creek to throw stones and look at fish.

Luke really enjoyed putting the rocks in his mouth. This is him looking over his shoulder at his mom before attempting another taste.

A great day and a great park! I would definitely return here again. Thanks Luke & Braeden!!

two brothers and a baby sister!

I couldn’t help but think of my sister and brother in law when photographing this family. 2 adorable boys and a baby girl. Ethan, Dylan & Isabelle (Bella).

I have 2 nephews and am expecting a niece this april! (yay!) Though my oldest nephew will only be 3 in may and Ethan, the oldest here, 5, the similarities were still there. It continues to amaze me the work these parents do! I feel busy some days just caring for my cat.

Anyway, as soon as I arrived I was greeted by the still sleepy from his nap, Dylan; the energetic, inquisitive and informative Ethan and the adorably happy 4 month old, Bella. Ethan enjoyed giving me a hand-held guided tour of the neighborhood on our walk to the nearby park. At the playground Dylan definitely awoke from his sleepiness and had a great time running around and playing on the equipment. As daylight was escaping fast, we captured some moments there and then headed back to the house to photograph the beautiful baby Bella!
