i was honored that sarah (a fabulous photographer, friend and person!) asked me to be the photographer for their wedding. not only is sarah one of my favorite people, but more importantly together, sarah and jason are one of my favorite couples. they met using the online personals that used to be available on “the onion” website around 4 years ago. if you are not familiar with the onion….check it out. it is a hilarious site dedicated to fake and absurd news stories. ironically (or not!) this is where carl (my now husband) & i met around the same time as well. so, we have basically been riding on a parallel train in our relationships since then…. whatever that means.
anyway, the ceremony took place at the Long Beach Island Museum, a unique space indeed! and… the reception was at The Gables just around the corner. The entire day was beautiful and unique!
(side note/ shout out:: major kudos to both s&j for helping with our wedding! jason, a talented origami artist, not only helped to fold our 1,00o cranes but he, along with sarah, helped to decorate them around the mansion where carl & i got married. thanks to you both!! congrats again and again!)
here’s some photos from their wedding….
