When I first met up with Anna & Bill over the summer for their engagement session (check it out here: http://melissahassey.com/2010/08/engagement-portraits-at-the-jersey-shore/ ), I knew that their wedding was going to be fabulous! And…. I was not disappointed. In fact, it was better than I had imagined. It was simple, heartfelt, natural, organic and , best of all, fun! 2 fabulous and in love people + one amazing venue = 1 fantastic wedding.
I had been excited for the opportunity to photograph at Terrain at Styers since my first visit there just over a year ago. If you are not fortunate enough to attend a wedding there…. at least go there just to check it out, shop, or simply be inspired. From plants, to books to food…. everything is wonderful!!
I was able to share the day with the talented Danette Pascarella who came along as my second photographer. I can’t wait to see what she captured that day as well!!
I am well aware that this is A LOT of photographs to post…. but I just felt like sharing!
I often tell my clients that I like to blend into the wall and stay out of the way…. as you can see, sometimes I blend into the bathtub…. 😉
Bill “getting ready”
Anna’s Mom and Aunts… they were so excited and adorable!
Before the wedding….. Wawa, of course!
We also found and used this pimped out car in the Wawa parking lot. Sorry car lovers…. all I know is that it is a cool car….
My favorite of the day…
I was so excited to see Elizabeth Frumin there to perform the ceremony. Elizabeth married my husband and I a little bit over a year ago. She is kind, sincere, honest and fun. Also, she was just offbeat enough to click with Carl and I and apparently Anna & Bill as well! Among her many talents, she performs wedding ceremonies. She works with each couple individually and will arrange a customized ceremony based on you, your values and relationship. She is fabulous!!! Check her out here: http://www.elizabethfrumin.com/
Bill & Anna set up lots of fun and unique items for guests to take home, sign and play….
There were lots of great speeches and toasts that night. One in particular described the unique dance moves that Bill used to woo Anna on the night that they first met. It was hilarious!
A change of shoes to get the party started…
Anna & her dad…

Though I never had the pleasure of meeting your daughter, she looked beautiful, and it seemed like a very different unique ceremony that really captured their personalities ! Congrats to you !!
The photography is amazing! It captures every moment with sincere clarity! You are very talented!
