Since first meeting with Bob & Ann many months ago, I knew that they were going to be a lot of fun. We shared lunch, beers and hours of conversation that first day. They had all of the qualities that I look for when meeting with potential clients. They are laid back, completely in love, know how to have fun and don’t take themselves too seriously.
I also got to spend some time with them again during their fun engagement session at Longwood Gardens (see that blog HERE!). Their wedding day was perfect! They had an intimate ceremony in the yard of Ann’s childhood home in Strausstown. PA. Her parents’ home was like a fairytale (especially to a city girl like myself). Their reception took place in Reading, PA at the very beautiful Berkshire Country Club .
Ann & Bob gave me lots of time to photograph them, which was fantastic! Plus they were willing to do just about anything….. like climb ladders and jump fences. Like I said, my kind of couple…. 😉 Together they are passionate, quirky, fun and unique. They admire and respect one another in a way that is truly inspiring. Congrats to a fabulous couple!!!
Also, thank you to Ann, Bob, family & friends for being so wonderful and making my job so fun and also for your patience as I posted these photographs!!! I appreciate that so very much!
Yay for skate parks & playgrounds!
I am a huge Crocs lover and often wear them to photograph weddings. Ann’s shoes were, for real, an adorable pair of Crocs. So cool!! I used to question if my shoes were formal enough to wear at weddings. I am now certain they are just fine. Thanks for that, Ann!
What a fun group!! There was lots of joking and even an impromptu “hokey pokey” dance. “You put your right arm in……” I got the song in your head now, don’t I? 😉
Hut one, hut two….. Football anyone???
One of my favorite bride photographs ever:
Lastly, they had a caricature artist that had everyone smiling. His work was really great! Check him out at Caricatures by Colin
Absolutely gorgeous meliss! Every shot was amazing!
How much fun are these pictures! You captured THEM perfectly!
Melissa — The pictures are wonderful! We’ve been checking your blog every day. The “fake laugh” is about to become a family classic – we did one for our Christmas card. I can’t wait to see every one of them. Kathy
Thank you!! What a fun wedding it was! I just sent Ann an email with the rest of the photographs!! Kathy, I LOVE the fake laugh as well as the gangsta poses! 😉
