What a delight it was to photograph the wedding of these two high school sweethearts (Little Flower & North Catholic – same as my parents 😉 )! When I first meet with potential wedding clients, I ask them to complete some information about their wedding plans and also to answer a few questions about them as a couple. I usually get a few quick non-descriptive lines, though I pine for long, quirky and intimate love stories (prospective clients, take note!)! With Lisa & John’s response, I got just that. Yay! There was mention of flowers and poems and the word soul mate was tossed around quite a bit as well. It was evident that these two had a very strong connection & I was excited for the opportunity to capture it.
The rain held off when we needed it to and it turned out to be a lovely day. Shew! The ceremony at The Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter & St. Paul was really beautiful and the reception at The Ballroom at the Ben was a blast. There was a lot of great energy and love to be shared that day… and a few fine dance moves as well.
Lisa & John, I wish you much love and happiness in your marriage always. Thanks again for choosing me!

Is this considered a photographer selfie? Hmmmm…
I love how grooms always fidget with their new rings!
Last, but not least, a BIG shout out goes to this awesome family… just for being awesome. 🙂
Testing this out.
