Tonight I decided to brave the blizzard with my camera for some “fun” snow photographs. So…. I booted up, threw on my hat, scarf, fold away mittens and then wrapped my camera up into a plastic bag. Professional, I know. 😉 I thought that I would frolic around the neighborhood like a little kid…. but once I actually stepped outside into the blistery snow, I realized that that (future discussion: the awkwardness of using “that that” in a sentence) would not be happening. I guess that I lasted about 12 minutes or so before I could no longer use my frozen finger to press the shutter. Carl lasted about 3 minutes before he turned around to go back inside…. I was lucky I got him out at all as I clearly pushed the idea! Anyway, here are a few shots of frozen Carl and our snow buried street….
Well the camera in the mirror shot is certainly cliche’ and a bit silly…. but for tonight, let’s just call it “classic”. 🙂 Stay warm, friends!
Oh, and here are a couple of previous snow blogs….. just because!

the second to last one is my fave, but I love them all.
love the very contrasty shot of Fishtown Market… the rich black and stark white makes me feel the chill just by looking at the photo. Was worth it to brave the weather to get that shot. Hope Carl agrees, he doesn’t look happy!
thanks!! Dale, he definitely was not as excited to be outside and freezing as i was. he does like the results though! 😉
I LOVE the mounting snow on your hats! Braving the cold for these pics was well worth it!
